Mid Atlantic Select AAU Basketball has an active fundraising effort and gladly accepts any donations of money, needed goods or services from individuals and businesses.  Mid Atlantic Select will use the donations to support its activities and defray large costs such as gym rentals for practices, uniforms, equipment, travel expenses and league/tournament fees.  Mid Atlantic Select AAU is actively working towards offering a Scholarship Fund to all players who have bona fide financial need and cannot afford the basic costs of participating on a team.  Mid Atlantic Selects scholarship program will benefit many. Mid Atlantic Select will insure our youth from disadvantaged and economically challenged backgrounds throughout the community have the full opportunity to play basketball without regard to needed finances.

All donations go directly to the organization's teams and do not benefit any individual board member, officer, coach or parent.

Donations can be designated for a specific Mid Atlantic Select team or may be given to the organization as a whole.  If your organization would like sponsorship elements to be attached to a donation of money, goods or services, Mid Atlantic Select would welcome the opportunity to work with you, to fashion a mutually beneficial sponsorship package.  We have numerous sponsorship elements including tournament sponsorship and apparel sponsorship that can be specifically crafted to raise your organization's profile throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and at National Exposure events we attend.

Mid Atlantic Select through the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is an Internal Revenue Service designated 501 c (3) non-profit organization.  As a result, donations of cash and goods to Mid Atlantic Select are deductible for federal income tax purposes; our Tax Identification number will be furnished with every receipt.  Please consult your tax adviser for more information.
