MID ATLANTIC SELECT MISSION STATEMENT

We are committed to reversing the current trend of youth focusing on basketball before academics. We provide academic counseling, tutoring and SAT/ACT test preparation.

MAS is emerging as one of the premier AAU programs in the country.  Our teams will participate in tournaments against some of the best competition on the East coast.  Our players will be seen by many college coaches, affording them the opportunity to be placed on prospect lists which in turn could lead to college scholarship offers.  MAS coaching staff is dedicated to coaching each player in reaching their maximum potential and contribution in the game of basketball and in transforming those skills from the basketball floor, to become future leaders in our communities tomorrow.

We prepare the players for high school varsity basketball through a dedicated program of skill work, drill work with both individual and team training.  We provide academic assistance to athletes to prepare them for the demands of college basketball.   At MAS our belief can perhaps be best summarized as follows; “There is no glory in practice, but without practice, there is no glory” Vince Lombardi.

We strive to positively impact the lives of basketball student athletes with the understanding that education and a strong work ethic are key fundamentals to being a valuable and valued contributor in society.
